Welcome to Democratic Youth Wave, dedicated to amplifying the voices of the younger generation in politics. Our mission is clear: to energize, educate, and empower youth to actively participate in the democratic process by turning out to vote. We aim to ensure their concerns and aspirations are at the forefront of political discussions and agendas. Ultimately, our goal is to create a BLUE wave in all 50 states powered by their votes.

Our mission is to make a positive impact on the future, particularly in regard to the following:

  • Civil rights, and upholding democracy for the sake of our youth and the future of our country.

PURPOSE

At our core, we are dedicated to making a positive impact by updating the Democratic playbook and finding new ways to engage young voters beyond traditional canvassing methods. This includes training new organizers and supporting grassroots voter contact groups. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that politicians recognize our influence and prioritize our votes, while also empowering young people to realize the power of their vote as a force be reckoned with and a voice to be heard.

YOUTH OF THE FUTURE 

My name is Nantambu Foley 

Nantambu Foley, a 22-year-old recent graduate from the University of Chicago, is deeply committed to enhancing political engagement among youth, particularly in underrepresented areas like Chicago’s South Side. He founded the Democratic Youth Wave PAC, aiming to empower and mobilize young individuals by providing opportunities for active participation in politics. Recognizing the potential impact of a PAC, Nantambu strategically allocates financial resources to candidates who align with youth concerns and priorities.

Nantambu’s experience includes serving in Congress under Congressman Jonathan Jackson’s leadership. He has played a pivotal role in strategic planning and grassroots movements for various campaigns, including Justice Joy Cunningham’s bid for the Supreme Court, Larry Rodgers Jr.'s commissioner race, Congressman Danny Davis’s re-election, and Alderman David Moore’s campaign. His unwavering commitment lies in amplifying youth voices and increasing voter turnout, ultimately shaping policies to better represent their interests
